bestcityinchina.site is a free travel quiz tool that helps travelers choose Chinese cities to visit. We take your privacy seriously and collect minimal data.
What data we collect
We do not collect personally identifiable information. We do not require accounts or email addresses. Quiz answers are processed in your browser.
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, device category, referral source, and quiz interaction events.
Cookies
Analytics cookies are used only for traffic measurement. We do not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers.
You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months. We do not store additional personal user datasets.
How data is used
Aggregated analytics is used to improve quiz usability, clarify guide structure, and detect pages that need factual refreshes. We do not use analytics data to build personal travel profiles or to make automated decisions about individual users.
Operational logs are reviewed for reliability, anti-abuse checks, and debugging. These logs are handled as technical telemetry and are not sold or shared for unrelated marketing purposes.
Ad services and consent context
The site may load third-party ad scripts to support monetization and maintenance. Ad requests and delivery behavior can depend on browser settings, regional requirements, and third-party policies. We do not manually build ad-targeting profiles from quiz answers.
If regional consent prompts are required by platform or legal standards, those controls are handled by the corresponding service provider and browser-level settings.
Requests and deletion
If you contact us by email and want your inquiry removed from working notes after resolution, include a deletion request in the thread. We will remove that correspondence from editorial working records unless retention is required for abuse-prevention or legal compliance.
Because we do not require user accounts, most requests are handled through service-level controls (browser settings, analytics opt-out tools, and provider privacy portals).
