Content Updates | Publishing Log and Changelog
Publishing rhythm: weekly 2+ high-value updates, plus a bi-weekly refresh cycle for older guides and internal links.
Cadence target
- Publish or update at least two guide pages every week.
- Revalidate internal links and source timestamps every two weeks.
- Document every content revision with impacted guide URLs.
Latest changes
Latest production changes across the China city guide cluster are listed below.
How updates are prioritized
We prioritize changes that directly affect traveler decisions: entry or payment readiness, season-window tradeoffs, and itinerary-friction guidance. Pages with the highest first-trip decision impact are refreshed first, followed by internal-link consistency and supporting references.
Each update batch includes a source check, metadata review, and internal-link pass so that published changes remain discoverable and operationally useful instead of becoming isolated text edits.
Expanded the guide cluster with budget, season, and entry-readiness content for first-time China travelers.
Refreshed Beijing and Shanghai comparison with friction and pace-based decision rules.
Updated first-city decision framework and added style-based internal links.
What we track in each revision
- Whether city-choice conclusions changed and which user profile is affected
- Whether source freshness changed for policy-sensitive statements
- Whether related guide pathways and canonical planning flows were updated
This revision log is designed to show maintenance continuity, not only publication activity. It helps readers evaluate whether guidance is current enough to support an actual booking decision.
